Chapter 1: Hum Apne Mann Ko Kyun Nahi Samajh Paate?

Kabhi aap shaam ke waqt aasmaan ko dekhe ho?
Suraj dheere-dheere dhall raha hota hai, hawa me thoda sa thandak hota hai, sab kuch shaant.
Lekin is shaanti ke beech, andar ek bheed chal rahi hoti hai.

Kabhi dhyaan diya hai?
Sharir shaant ho sakta hai.
Lekin mann kabhi bhi shaant nahi hota.

Aankh band karo to:

  • Ya to kal ki tension aa jaati hai,
  • Ya kal ka regret,
  • Ya future imaginations,
  • Ya kuch bekaar soch, bina matlab ki.

Aisa kyun?

Monkey Mind ka Swabhav

Mann ek bandar ki tarah hai.
Usse ek jagah tikna pasand nahi.

Wo hamari permission ka intezaar nahi karta.
Wo chal padta hai.
Kabhi yahan, kabhi wahan.
Ek thought, phir doosra, phir teesra… jaise hawa me udd raha patta.

Hum sochte nahi.
Thoughts hume sochte hain.

Aap Sochte Ho Ke “Main Soch Raha Hoon”

Lekin dhyaan se dekho.
Thoughts to aapke bina bulaye hi aa jaate hain.

Agar sochna aapke control me hota,
to aap apne mann ko abhi shant kar dete.
Sahi hai?

Lekin aap kar nahi paate.
Kyunki aap aur aapke thoughts alag cheezein hain.

Yeh Samajhna Meditation Ka Pehla Darwaza Hai

Realization yeh nahi ki:

  • “Mujhe mind control karna hai.”

Realization yeh hai:

  • Mind apne tarike se kaam karta hai.
  • Aur main usse alag hoon.

Jis tarah se:

  • Aasman alag hai
  • Aur uspe guzarne wale badal alag

Waise hi:

  • Aap = Aasman
  • Thoughts = Badal

Kabhi koi badal aasman ko choota hai?
Woh sirf gujarta hai.

Lekin hum kya karte hain?
Har badal ko pakadne lag jaate hain.

“Yeh meri problem hai.”
“Yeh mera emotion hai.”
“Yeh mera plan hai.”
“Yeh meri tension hai.”

Aur dheere dheere, hum badal ko apni pehchaan samajh lete hain.

Woh Ek Shaant Pal

Agar ek pal ke liye, sirf ek pal ke liye,
aap sirf observe kar do:

“Ek thought aa raha hai.”
Bas itna hi. Na rokna. Na bagalna. Na judge karna.

Us pal me,
ek dwaar khulta hai.

Woh dwaar hi meditation ka raaz hai.

Woh pal jahan:

  • Aap dekh rahe ho,
  • Aap samajh rahe ho,
  • Par aap uss thought ke godi me nahi jaa rahe ho.

Us pal aap mind ke malik ho jaate ho,
mind aapka malik nahi rehta.

Chapter 1 ka Siddhant

Thoughts ko rokna nahi.
Sirf dekhna.

Jaise samundar kinaare khade ho kar lehron ko dekhte ho.
Aap samundar nahi ban jaate.
Aap drashta ho.

Isi ko hum kehte hain:

Drashta Bhaav — The Observer State.

Agar aapne is chapter ko padhte samay dil me halka sa sukoon mehsoos kiya,
to samajh lo —
meditation ka beej andar gir chuka hai.


Chapter 2: Meditation Kya Nahi Hai (Log Galat Kya Samajhte Hain)

Jab koi pehli baar meditate karna shuru karta hai,
sabse pehla sawaal hota hai:

“Mera mann shant kyun nahi ho raha?”

Lekin yahan ek bahut gehri baat samajhna zaroori hai:

Meditation ka matlab mann ko shant banana nahi.
Meditation ka matlab mann ko samajhna hai.

Agar aap mann ko force se control karna chahoge,
to mann aur zyada bhaagega.

Jaise bachche ko bol do:
"Yeh mat chhoo."
Wo bas uss cheez ko hi chhoega.

Mann ka bhi yahi swabhav hai.

Galat Soch 1: “Meditation = Thoughts ko rok dena”

Aap sochte ho:
“Agar main meditate kar raha hoon,
to mujhe koi thought nahi aana chahiye.”

Lekin socho:
Koi nadi behti ho —
kya aap usse keh sakte ho,
“Bas, ab tu behna band kar de”?

Mann bhi ek thought-stream (vicharon ki dhara) hai.
Uska kaam hai behte rehna.

Meditation ka kaam hai:
Us dhara ke kinare khade reh kar use dekhna.

Rokna nahi.
Sirf dekhna.

Galat Soch 2: “Meditation = Concentration (Ek cheez par zor lagana)”

Concentration effort se hoti hai.
Effort = Tanav.

Meditation tanav nahi,
tanav ki suljhi hui sukoon bhari gehraai hai.

Concentration me zabardasti hoti hai.
Meditation me sweekar hota hai.

“Main jo hoon, jaisa hoon,
iss pal me use dekh raha hoon.”
Bas.
